Which stablecoins can I use with x402?
As of April 2026, USDC is the default and most widely supported settlement asset. USDT is supported by some facilitators such as Utexo on Bitcoin Lightning. Additional stablecoins may be supported by individual community facilitators. A resource server declares which assets it accepts in the 402 response, so the client always knows the exact token before paying.
